Can I apply for a Non-Immigrant B Visa as a General Manager without company shares in Thailand?

I was wondering if somebody could help me with this little problem. I am working as a general manager for a company and I normally get the one year non-immigrant be from the Thai consulate in Penang. However, I went recently and got the three month non-immigrant visa and was ready to start gathering the documents for the one year, however, I found out that I will need to be a director of the company and have over 20% shares in the company. Since neither of those apply to me does anyone know a consulate somewhere that I can apply for the non-immigrant b business visa being only a general manager with no shares in the company Any help would be very appreciated
