Why is the document check process taking longer in HCM Vietnam compared to Hanoi for visa applications?
Who’s else is in HCM Vietnam that’s still pending for document check. (Applied/paid Dec.2 at 3am)
Should had done Hanoi, seems like everyone’s getting it done within 4 business days or at least past the document check phase within the first day or 2.

Yeah, HCM seems slower lately. Hanoi’s been quicker for many. Fingers crossed your check comes through soon! Just hang tight, it’s normal for some places to take longer.

So 2 working days and you are complaining?

I mean… you applied on the 2nd, and today is only the 5th plus it’s a holiday. Add the numerous applicants queuing. What are you expecting? It’s a 5-year visa you’re applying for. You might need to be a little patient.

OPAnonymous participant 266 Huh ? I applied Dec.2 at 03:00am. Why would I make a post if I just applied yesterday haha I am being patient, just asking to see who else is experiencing HCM atm

Anonymous participant Karen? 😂 You applied on the 2nd and today is a holiday. That’s literally only 2 business days. Show a little patience and maybe a bit less entitlement?!

Anonymous participant None. With that impatience and mindset, you won’t survive long in Thailand. 👋

OPAnonymous participant 266 What entitlement are you on about Karen 🤣

OPAnonymous participant 212 Yup, I am very aware of that & the business days. I was comparing to others posting about Hanoi during the same dates as me..:/

I've been here since the 2nd , asked for proof of hotel flight , stamp, selfie outside hotel etc

OPAnonymous participant 129 Ah cool we applied the same date, at least they started checking your documents & contacting you. Mines still pending or maybe it’s cause I provided all those extra documents they requested from you during my application submission already.
