I have about 19 weeks off work, and I am planning an extended trip to Asia. I plan to spend most time in Thailand, with trips to the Philippines and maybe Malaysia. I will probably also travel back to Australia for a few weeks.
I am thinking that having a multiple entry tourist visa (METV) might be the best option to allow me maximum flexibility. (I am concerned that if I leave and re enter Thailand too many times using a visa exemption - immigration may consider that I am doing too many 'border runs' and deny me entry.)
However, keeping my holiday flexible means that I do not want to book too many flights, or more than the first few nights accommodation. I am hoping to get some advice on applying for a METV.
Should the following be adequate proof of my itinerary when applying for the METV?
- booking confirmation for my first incoming flight and for a flight/ferry/bus to exit Thailand within 60 days
- confirmation of an accommodation booking for the first few days only.
Thank you in advance for any help😀
