I entered on a non-immigrant single entry. I got a multi-entry stamp in my passport for 3800 Baht at the local immigration office in Ubon Ratchathani. I could also get a reentry for 1900 Baht.Kurt ***********

it's a permit not a Visa, the stamp even says that it's a permit, and it costs 3,800 for multiple entry or 1,000 for single entry. The cost of an extension is 1900 baht.Kurt ***********
