Thai embassy London "Multiple Entry Tourist Visa will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Travellers must enter Thailand within the validity of visa, and they will be permitted to stay in Thailand not exceeding 60 days for each entry within the period of 6 months from the date of arrival in Thailand."

METV is valid six months from it’s issued and each time you get stamped in within this six months period you’ll get 60 days upon entry which also can be extended with additional 30 days at your local immigration. If you get stamped in short time before the visa expires you’ll still get 60+30 days and can stay almost for nine months.
