What documents are required for extending a 30-day visa exemption in Thailand, and do I need proof of onward travel or accommodations?

We arrived in Thailand on January 28 and were stamped in until February 26 on a 30 day visa exemption. I have booked an appointment on February 13 in Chanburi for a tourist visa extension. I received an email confirming I should bring the following information:

Documents to be submitted

Application form TM.7 (Application must be made in person)

Copy of applicant's passport

Photo 4x6 cm (not older than 6 months)

Application fee 1,900 THB

After reading numerous posts on this site it appears they may ask for additional information. Will I need to provide proof of onward travel or booked accommodations? Is there any way to get a 30 day extension electronically?

Appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking for assistance regarding the documents needed to extend their 30-day visa exemption in Thailand. They have an appointment for February 13 to apply for a tourist visa extension and have already booked an appointment. They seek to know if proof of onward travel or accommodation is necessary for the extension and inquire about the possibility of extending the visa electronically.

Do I have to be staying at the same hotel when I go for my appointment? I am in a hotel in another city now but will be staying with friends in Pattaya.

Edie Pastuch You need to submit a tm30 in the province you are obtaining the extension before you go to immigration.

If staying at friends they or their landlord if they have one needs to file a tm30 for you.

your hotel should have filed it when you arrived at the hotel. Ask them for a print out COPY of it.

No proof of your flight departing Thailand is needed for this 30 day extension of stay.

The TM30 address registration is required to be on file at most Thai Immigration offices.

You MUST appear in person to apply for the 30 days extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office. NOT available online.
