Hello,

For tourist visa extension 60 days (current one is due on Nov 30), anyone recently successfully applied in Bangkok? Is it now in Chiang Watthana immig office instead of the temporary location? I have embassy letter. Anything else should be prepared. Thanks a lot.

If you entered Thailand on a Tourist visa in the first place, you have to go to MTT (immigration temporary office) for applying extension of stay in Bangkok.

Went this morning quick and easy . Took 30 minutes hardly anyone there. Need to make appointment. They send you email check your spam it's 2 forms. They ask for copy of appointment from online. Got a under consideration stamp to go back in two weeks. They did want to show proof of where I was staying since my hotel didn't register me but I had print out of my receipt of stay as I been living in hotel the whole time here. In and out fast no questions asked just paid the 1900 baht

 not sure if you are really close by it wouldn't hurt to try. If it's not crazy busy I don't think they would say anything. But it also depends who you get and is fussy or not.
