Will be extending my non-b visa for 12 months in January after having been here 15 months. Advice requested regarding cost of this. My accountant at work says it is 15,000 baht paid to immigration office. Wanting confirmation before handing over any money.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The cost for extending a Non-B visa (Extension of Stay) in Thailand is confirmed by various community members to be 1,900 baht, despite some misinformation suggesting it could be as high as 15,000 baht. It is advised to confirm requirements directly at the Immigration Office.

There is no such thing as a 15K baht extension based on anything.

ALL extensions of stays are 1900baht..

Good Luck, we're done (y)

Visit the Immigration Office, ask for the hand out of requirements, normally in English and Thai. Start using a copy machine, tick the list when done and than apply at Immigration Office. Cost of Extenion of Stay is 1.900 Thb. Cost of you making photo copies for an hour unknown

Thankyou...paperwork is already prepared as part of accountants paid position. Hate the fact of being ripped off as I pay my staff above average wages. I’m on a steep learning curve of ‘all things thai’
