Has anyone here experienced changing your visa from Non B Working to Non O Volunteer during this pandemic?
Once my visa is canceled (eg March 11th), will the immigration grant you an automatic 7 days extension?
My agency said that once my visa got canceled, Immigration will automatically grant you a 7-14 days extension FOR FREE. Seems too good to be true, right? Anyone here can say if this is true or not?
During these 7-14 days extension, this is the only time that the agency will step in to process my Volunteer Visa.
Please help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process of changing their visa status from a Non-B Working visa to a Non-O Volunteer visa during the pandemic. They are specifically asking if an automatic extension is granted by immigration for 7-14 days following the cancellation of their Non-B visa, as stated by their agency. Comments suggest that while there is a possibility of an extension, the details vary depending on the visa type and immigration policies.

Your agency should have explained you all the process. Now after canceling your NON-B visa you can apply for Covid extension, then your agency will have more time to do new Visa. But usually NON-B visas under BOI only get 14 days after cancelation. Normal NON-B gives you just one free or 7 days for 1900 thb.
After cancelation of Work permit, you need to cancel your Visa immediately. Ask HR for the paper about WP cancelation, you will need it for closing visa.
