TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-O Retirement Visa process is currently prioritizing applications converted from Exempt Entry or Tourist Visas, with a turnaround time of just 3 days. The package includes a bank account opening, a 3-month Non-O visa, and a 1-year retirement extension, all for 60,000 THB. The post reassures that not all agents are unable to assist new applicants and highlights concerns about other agents taking longer for the service. Comments from various users include recommendations for agents, discussions about fees, and personal experiences.

If you already have a non-o, or retirement extension then our yearly extension fee is 15,000 right now (takes 3 days).

Prices have not changed much if you already have a bank account.

Well, this obviously was the price because you entered on a Non-Imm-O visa. Because on this visa, opening a bank account is a breeze. So you only paid for the 12-months extension and didn't have to use own funds. The same would also be the quote of the threadstarter agency - 30-32,000 THB. And a re-entry permit would cost something on top of this price. You have to understand what this topic is about: It refers to the "change of visa type" from a touristic entry to a 90-days visa and from there to the 12-months extension. On a touristic entry, you cannot get a bank account opened any more since February 2025 - THIS is the hurdle the threadstarter offers to remove

It is totally useless to argue about the agent and its fee. Someone who has enough money for this, can use this service. comfortable and stressless. This is true. If someone does not like this or does all by himself, it is also fine. It is just individual choice.

Unfortunately, some unreliable agents sometimes resort to tactics like this. It is also important to be cautious of offers with unusually low prices or intentional delay tactics.

With us, all services and fees are clearly agreed upon before we accept your passport. Every payment is secured under a formal contractual agreement, and all funds are treated as a refundable deposit if we do not deliver the service as promised.

60,000 THB is the standard rate, and many agents no longer even provide this service. Instead, they advise clients to leave the country or switch to an ED visa first, which involves complicated processes that can take weeks to months to complete.

@everyone If you require these services, please reach out to us via LINE. Normally, we charge a addition fee for our 3-day rush processing, but we are waiving this charge at the moment.

Please note that, due to the bank account requirement, you will need to travel to Bangkok and stay for three days.

We are a service-focused business.

When it comes to banking, we can draw on our experience, network, and facilitate with immigration to support account openings in exceptional cases.

If you feel our pricing is too high, please share what other agents are charging and we’ll gladly review it. From our knowledge, our rates are not substantially higher than others and, in some cases, we may even be more affordable.

That would then mean that you are tied to a branch in Bangkok. What about people who live elsewhere? They need to be able to bank locally.

They can then open an account at any bank or branch once they hold a 3-month Non-O visa along with a 1-year extension.

Most banks will not allow new account openings unless the applicant already has a 1-year retirement visa, but once they do, it is no longer an issue.

Yes, once your application is approved for 15 months, the yearly extension fee is about 14,000 THB.

The initial 15 month conversion cost is higher because you are already in Thailand without a bank account and not holding a Non-O visa.
