When I book an appointment online it shows that the fees are 1900Thb

From my understanding it was 1000Thb at immigration office and 1200thb at airport

Am I missing something ? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the cost of reentry permits at the Chaengwattana Immigration Office, noting a discrepancy between the online appointment fee of 1900 THB and previous understood costs of 1000 THB for a single reentry and 1200 THB for airport reentry fees. Comments from the community clarify that 1000 THB is for a single entry permit, while 3800 THB is for a multi-entry permit. Additional questions arise about the specific use cases for the online reentry permit.

Care to share some light on the use cases of this permit. We mostly do a visa extension at the immigration for 1900 baht, but curious to know what this online re entry permit serves as?

and this permit is for long stay visa like retirement or business… to allow you to exit and re enter the country without issuing and new visa

This is not applicable for short stay visa like tourist visas

It's not an online re-entry permit. It's making an appointment to go to the office and purchase a re-entry permit. If you leave Thailand without a re-entry permit then whatever permission to stay in Thailand you have is cancelled. This keeps it from being cancelled, so you can keep your extension alive for when you return.

it’s just an online appointment service you still have to go in person or on behalf of someone and submit the documents at the immigration office
