I understand a re entry permit needs to be completed when you leave the country. This is non refundable regardless.
Which would be the best place to do so Suvarnabhumi or nearest immigration? Is there a difference in process regarding these two places?
Thanks for your response in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When leaving Thailand, obtaining a re-entry permit is necessary, and it can be done at Suvarnabhumi Airport or at the nearest immigration office. The cost at immigration is 1000 THB, while at the airport it costs 1000 THB plus a 200 THB service charge. Although the airport process is slightly more expensive, it is often faster, operates 24/7, and provides additional services like taking your photograph.
