TLDR : Answer Summary
There is a discussion about the cost of a single re-entry permit from Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is confirmed to be 1,000 baht, with some comments suggesting that a handling fee may also apply. The conversation includes clarifications on how re-entry permits work in relation to the visa's stay duration and the implications for future visa entries.

My mistake then...Oh well....if her information is correct I'll have saved 1,200 baht anyway as I'll be able to come back on visa exempt next time with no issues ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

The reentry permit does not pause the visa, it just allows you to come back (on current visa) your permitted to stay date stays the same.

I can see what she means though as my first entry I had to leave on or before the 8th October.

I was under the impression that I had used 28 days on this 60 day visa. So if I got a re-entry permit I'd still have 32 days remaining for my next entry as long as I entered before the 6th November when the visa expires.....

Just tried this at Suvarnabhumi and got told not possible as my visa finishes on the 8th October and I won't come back for 6 weeks from today.....Is that right? Her information was to just come back and get a visa exempt next time ๐Ÿ˜‚
