Hello. My mariage visa is finishing on 10may. I understand i can ask the renewal 45 day before (bkk). The under consideration period will be the same? 21day. Or i will have to come back on the birthday date (10may) to get the one year visa stamp? thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the renewal process for their marriage visa in Thailand, specifically regarding the timing of the renewal application and the under consideration period. They asked if the under consideration period would remain at 21 days and whether they needed to return on the exact expiry date to receive the one-year visa stamp. Respondents clarified that the under consideration stamp would extend the current visa's expiration by 21 days, meaning the user could apply 45 days before the current expiry and receive the stamp accordingly.

My extension date is March 5 at Bangkok. Last year I applied for an extension on Feb 15 and my under consideration date was March 8. The extension was then to 5 March 2024.

thanx for that, then it seems that the 21 days was just from the date you applied NOT added to your extension (y)

Unless I'm mistaken, as a rule, the under consideration stamp is added to your current expiration (no matter when you apply)

so in bangkok they'd give you a 21 day under consideration stamp added to the expiration date you have now of 10 May or about May 31st

At least that's how I understand it to work. That's because that 21 day under consideration stamp is actually part of your new year extension (and that's why it's added to the expiration you have now)
