TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the implications of their passport expiring while holding a NON-O visa. They express concern over whether the visa will still be valid after their passport expires in June 2026, and whether it can be transferred to a new passport. Community responses suggest that while visa extensions will align with the passport expiry date, users have recommended that the visa can be transferred to a new passport at the Immigration office.

Suggest you get a NEW passport now.

When you get the new passport go to Immigration and it will be transferred over. Well the last time that is how it worked unless something changed since 2018.

When you apply for an extension it will be granted for 12 months or until the expiry date of your passport. Whichever is the shorter.
