Hi all, Q- if a 90 day report falls due and you are out of Thailand. The 90 days starts again when you hit immigration on your return. So, ignore the one with the date on it. Is that right or to much Leo in my head? Thanks.
Answer summary
When you leave Thailand before your 90-day report is due, the 90 days reset upon your return to the country. As long as you haven't been in Thailand for 90 continuous days, there is no need to submit a report. It's important to keep in mind that if you're out of the country, you haven't fulfilled the requirement for a continuous stay. Re-entry permits are necessary if you're planning to leave and return.

You only report if you're in Thailand for 90 continuous days. If you leave and re-enter the 90 days reset.
Mark Goodall not at all how it works. 90 day reporting (for stays of more than 90 days in the country) starts over upon entry into the country. There's no check in related to the 90 day report until the 90 days is due.
It's a report for 90 days continuous stay in Thailand. If you leave before 90 days, then you haven't been there 90 days.Your continuous stay starts from day 1 again when you come back.
Andrew Seaton Thank you. Done my 90 day and re entry while I was at immigration. Been trying to learn to do my yearly extension, reports etc myself. Easier to go to an agent but I like a challenge and there are a few extra's Baht for the wife to spend. Cheers, thanks and take care.
