If I understood right, with a non imigrant visa for one year and multiple entries I need to do go in and out every 3 month. But what will be happend, if I go to KL and come back without passing the imigration of Malaysia? I mean, airplain, only transit and back?

TLDR : Answer Summary
With a multiple-entry Non-Immigrant visa for Thailand, you must leave the country every 90 days. It's debated whether it's necessary to stamp in and out of Malaysia during transit. Some users suggest that keeping both boarding passes is sufficient to re-enter Thailand without breaking the visa rules, while others recommend getting stamped in and out for smooth re-entry.

Okay, it seems like we're going round and round with this.
@Mi***
, people have said it is better to stamp in&out of Malaysia, but you've also heard that you can just hang in transit and come back as long as you have both your boarding passes.

I think those are your choices. report back and let us know how it works out okay?

no problem, just keep both boarding passes.

and if i understand right, i don't need a stamp from the malaysian immigration to come in again, right?

I don't but I'm older than everyone ... hahahahah ... Get a grip - why push the system... Next time you may run into an airport I/O in Thailand who sends you back to KL ... you never know.

I booked 2 one way tickets. But I think its a good idea to have a planB, if the first flight is to late. And how do you know, how old I am? ;-)

I know I did it in KL... I am much older than you and walked it in 15 minutes... and got back with time to spare... Book better next time .... Two One Way tickets allow you to pick more flights

The time between the 2 flights is very short...

Robert - the Malaysian stamp is small and free -- fits into any small corner... It is not the same as the big full page Thai and Lao Visa stickers. If that is the case of this fellow as he has no space for a 2 cm square stamp then he should get a new passport.

Saving space in their passport. New ones could be very expensive and take time to get.

It is not that difficult to go the long walk to Malaysian Immigration and check in and back out -- then check in for the flight - go to the departure gate... I did it at KL once - nothing to it ... I do not understand why people want to make problems for themselves when a 15 minute walk prevents the problem ...

he wasn't asked but on a Non-Immigrant visa IF they ask you'd have to show 20K baht or the equivalent.

Do you know if he was asked to show money to spend his life in Thailand?

@Mi***
, nope a friend on a Non-O multi-entry one did. Just flew to KL in the morning stayed in the transit area and flew right back. They grilled him about why he didn't stamp in and out, but stamped him in for 90 days in the end.

Thanks,
@T**
. Did you do it before?

As I said, you will be most likely be questioned and hassled some when you fly back in because you didn't stamp in and out of malaysia.

U get 90 days on every entry

Seeing as it's free for you to get into malaysia why wouldn't you stamp in and back out?

When you flew back into thailand you'd have to show your boarding pass. They might question or hassle you on why you didn't stamp in&out, but in the end they'd stamp you in for 90 days anyway.
