Hi there, has anyone had 'Processing

Pending Approval' revert back to request document or anything? Or does that mean I'm pretty much approved and they just need to issue it.

I'm flying in 2 days time so if it's not issued then I may have to risk getting it approved whilst in thailand then doing border run

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the status of their visa application indicated as 'Processing Pending Approval' and its implications, especially since they are flying to Thailand in two days. They question if this status means they are likely approved or if further documentation is needed. Comments from others include personal experiences with similar situations, explaining that additional documents can sometimes lead to quick approval, as well as a recent update where someone received their approval after contacting the consulate.

UPDATE: I emailed the consulate in Sydney saying my flight was on Saturday and about 2 hours later I got the APPROVAL with PDF etc.

Overall I just needed to re-submit 1 document on Tuesday the 15th and today it got approved.

Also my proof of flight into Thailand was for last Sunday and they didn’t seem to care about that. I missed that flight for other reasons.

SO HAPPY

Yeah, much better to ask the Embassy than a Facebook group.

The visa fee is paid after approval or before? In case of disapproval do they refund it?

Why not read the embassy website ?

@Henrik ****
I remember reading some cases from this group they paid only after they were told they are likely to be approved. It may only work for walk in applications though

And that information you will find at the embassy website.

I’m not sure if this will happen to you but I applied for mine, got approved. Applied for my husband and daughter as dependents. My husband got approved but my daughters needed more documentation provided with a new flight itinerary because the day they were trying to finalize it was the day after we were originally supposed to fly over and it said we couldn’t be in Thailand when they approved the visa. We had just so happened to delay our flight by a couple days due to other circumstances so I provided them with a new itinerary and they approved the next day 🤷‍♀️
