Request for further document from Jakarta embassy

* Document indicating current location: Please upload stay permit from Indonesian Immigration and proof that you are currently in Indonesia.

* Other request documents: Please upload all pages of your passport.

What does stay permit mean? I already sent them my indonesian online e-visa on arrival (i don't have stamp because i used e-gate) and i sent them my arrival card too. How i have to proof my current location in other ways?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The stay permit refers to a document that indicates your legal status in Indonesia, often referred to as KITAS, which is necessary for residency. To prove your current location in Indonesia for your visa application, you might include evidence such as a selfie with a current newspaper at a recognizable location, hotel booking confirmations, daily receipts, or any relevant documentation that verifies you are still in the country. Since your e-visa does not have a stamp, supplementary proof from various sources may be needed.

Show them your hotel or airbnb booking.

Maybe a receipt where you made a current purchase to show proof of being in the country

I believe the Indonesia Stay Permit is the KITAS, it is like a residency stamp for non-Indonesians living in Indonesia. I know that there is a small list of nationalities that can only apply in Indonesia, if they are residing there (most countries can apply on a tourist visa though). What is your nationality?

I sent boarding pass, hotel receipt, ALL pages of the passport, and photos of the paper visa and stamps (so can't comment on the electronic version), as well as a cover letter listing and explaining each doc - all in one, compressed pdf.

These two requests are related to the usual location check, since you cannot leave the country (or at least cannot re-enter Thailand) during the application process. You’ll need to provide relevant proof that you are still in Indonesia (for example, a selfie with a daily newspaper at a recognizable place) as well as the pages of your passport showing immigration stamps.

When did you apply?

Visa Stay Permit is the receipt the immigration sent to your email account that has your photo taken during the check out at the autogate. When did you submit yours? Mine was on Sept 3, still pending doc check.

You can re-submit the online e-visa, air/ferry/transport ticket, hotel booking, selfie in front of hotel/newspaper, today's receipt etc. Anything that clearly shows you're in Indonesia today.
