Hello! My husband and I are here on Visa Exemption (tourism) scheme and are wanting to do the 30 day extension.
Do we need to print out all the documents before we go or can we get our photos taken/print everything out when we arrive at the Central Investigation Bureau?
As far as I can tell, we need to have:
-Application form TM.7
-Copy of each passport
-4x6 cm photo
-1,900 Baht per person
If you have any tips for us on how to best do this process, we would really appreciate any advice. Thank you for letting us know whether we can print everything there and also whether we can get our photos taken there.
Also, can anyone confirm that this is the correct address for people nearby in Bangkok:
Central Investigation Bureau
904 Moo 6, Chaengwattana Road
Ban Mai, Pak Kret
Nonthaburi 11120
Thailand
TLDR : Answer Summary
You and your husband can apply for a 30-day extension under the Visa Exemption scheme, but it is advisable to print and prepare all documents beforehand to save time. Required documents include the TM.7 application form, a copy of each passport (including the stamp page), a 4x6 cm photo, and the fee of 1,900 Baht per person. There is a copy and photo shop available at the Central Investigation Bureau, but it’s recommended to have these ready before your visit. Confirmed address for the Bureau is 904 Moo 6, Chaengwattana Road, Nonthaburi, Thailand. Make sure to also bring a copy of your TM6 departure card.
