TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your visa for an additional 30 days at the immigration office in Thailand, you'll need to bring several documents: your passport, copies of your passport main page, entry stamp, and one 4cm x 6cm passport photo. Alongside these, ensure you have 1,900 baht in cash and a pen. Completing forms TM.7, STM.2, and TM.30 is necessary. The TM.30 form must be filled out by your landlord, who can also provide a printed or screenshot version. Note that some immigration offices may have unique forms not available online, so check beforehand or be prepared to fill them out in person.

This is the latest information.

Some offices are using their own forms that are not available on internet (for example, Bangkok is using the one with additional stamped fields) and some of offices don't accept downloaded ones. In that case, you have to fill out them at the office again anyway.

The forms to fill out are as follows:

- TM.7

- STM.2

- TM.30

Also depending on what immigration office you visit some of them also require you to complete a Penalties for Overstay form.

These forms can be found online, printed and filled out to take with you before you go or they will have them at the immigration office for you to fill out once you get there, so take a pen with you.

Note: The TM.30 needs to be filled out by your landlord or the owner of your accommodation. You will have to ask them to complete this beforehand. Essentially they register you into the system online and then you will need to get a printed copy of it from them once they've completed it. They can also send you a screenshot for you to print out if that's easier.

Other than that you need a copy of your main passport page, a copy of your passport entry stamp/visa page, one 4cm x 6cm passport photo, 1,900 baht cash and your physical passport. Patience is also required at many immigration offices as there can be long wait times and it can be a bit frustrating but it's not too bad if you're organised and polite. The staff will generally help you out if you're not rude.

With regards to your address being in Thai, maybe try and take a screenshot then go into Google translate and ask it to translate your screenshot. Good luck!

Amazing thank you, does my landlord NEED to fill it out or will it be okay if I fill out when I get to immigration office?

You won't have the necessary documentation to do a TM30 i.e. the deed to the property. You will need to confirm with the landlord that the TM30 was done. If it wasn't, your landlord needs to get that sorted out first.

Once they confirm you are registered, you will need to get the TM30 receipt at the immigration office before you apply for your extension.

I'm not a visa expert and I just speak from my personal experience when extending visas in various different places around the country. My understanding is it's not possible to complete the TM.30 at immigration, as it's something your landlord does to register your stay into the system. I've never applied to extend without sorting the TM.30 with my landlord first because I was always told it was necessary. Without the TM.30 people get told to go away and come back once they have it.
