Hi everyone. Can someone please tell me what I need to take to the immigration office for my first 30-day extension? I've never done it before. I have an Australian passport with just a visa exempt 30 day stay that ends April 4th. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for your first 30-day extension of stay at the immigration office in Thailand with a visa exempt 30-day stay, you will need to bring several documents including your passport, copies of the data page and entry stamp, the TM6 departure card, a filled-out TM7 application form (available at the immigration office), and a passport-sized photo. The fee for the extension is 1900 Baht. It's recommended to avoid peak times at the immigration office due to high traffic and consider using local copy shops for documents.
Believe me you ain't gonna be the only foreigner out there :O and there are copy shops in the basement that will fill out your form, make your copies and take a passport photo if you need them to
I'd sure give this week a pass as it's JAMMED with people now. Try early next week
Thank you so much for the information, much appreciated.

TM6 departure card
a filled out TM7 application for extension (that you can get at the immigration office)
And a passport sized photo
Those things and 1900baht get you a 30 day extension out at the main immigration office in the government complex on Chaengwattana Road Building B second floor south entrance.
