I do need advice from experienced Embassy in Vientiane 🙏

I am applying for a remote worker and would like to ask if these documents are enough for financial proof:

• 3-month bank statement (600,000 THB + USD 30,000)

• Employment contract

• Company confirmation letter and cover letter

- I have not started working yet, so I do not have a payslip. Is it okay to submit only these documents, or should I wait for my payslip? THANK YOU 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether their submitted documents are sufficient for a remote worker visa application at the Embassy in Vientiane, Laos. They have a 3-month bank statement, an employment contract, and a company confirmation letter, but lack a payslip as they haven't started the job yet. Responses from the community suggest that paychecks may not be required, and that providing detailed evidence of financial stability is key. They should also submit a letter clarifying their working status and intentions while in Thailand.

I got mine at Vientiane, Laos. The good thing about doing it there is they always give you an interview and their pretty pleasant in the interview. They will ask what you plan to do in Thailand and how you will support yourself, you just show them the evidence docs you uploaded for your employment and theyl ask you to open your banking app on your phone so they can check the 600k and any transactions themselves. Theyl have a look, tell you it's fine and let you go and you get the visa by email few hours later.

If you're not yet working, I don't think you're elegible for the remote worker category. But no problem applying even when you have worked even 1-2 days.

You also need to submit a letter detailing permission to work in Thailand and you won't engage in work with Thai based firms. Just let them know reason for no payslips and it should be fine.

I have been researching a lot about this and I didn’t come across with anyone saying they had to present pay-checks in Laos
