Hi everyone!

I’m looking to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa as a remote worker, but I just started my new job this month. My first payslip and contract are from early October, and I’m planning a trip to Taiwan or Jakarta on the 28th of this month.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Could starting the job recently cause any issues with the visa application? I hope it’s okay to ask here—I couldn’t find a similar post, so I wanted to reach out.

Thanks so much in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on applying for the Destination Thailand Visa as a remote worker, having just started their job this month. They are concerned about whether this could affect their application. Comments from the community suggest that there are no specific income requirements for the visa, only a 500,000 THB funds requirement. It's advised to present the employment contract and a payslip with the application, and to check the relevant visa section on the Thai Embassy's website for more information.

There is no income requirements, just the 500K funds requirement. Present your contract and certificate of employment stating your remote worker authorization and single payslip if you wish.

they also want a “company license” showing the registration of the company you’re employed with.
