Are payslips necessary for a visa application as a remote worker in Thailand?

Regarding "remote worker" category and payslips for application via Hanoi in February 2025:

Are payslips necessary to submit or best way forward? Explain situation in a cover letter?

Background: I am employed since March 2024, but for technical reasons, the company I am working for was only able to hire me as a full-time service worker in 2024. This means, in 2024, my company required me to write them invoices and they paid me my monthly salary based upon these invoices. Therefore, I do not have any payslips for 2024, but my bank statement shows the monthly salary transfer.

I am receiving my first salary with a payslip this month in January 2025.

How to deal with this situation when applying? Any suggestions welcome!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the necessity of payslips when applying for a visa in Thailand as a remote worker, given that they only received their first payslip in January 2025, after being paid based on invoices in 2024. The conversation emphasizes the importance of presenting invoices alongside bank statements as proof of income, as well as considering the contract with the main client as part of the documentation.

So show the invoices and the matching payments arriving in your bank account as a freelancer rather than an employee

The more I read, the more lost I am about the income part of the application. Should I include invoices in my Visa application, or is the contract with my main client enough?

People that have provided a contract and proof of sufficient funds have been asked to show invoices and money transfers between them and their clients?

Show the invoices highlighting the amount and just highlight the payments coming into your account statement

Show the invoices. Many people are not directly employed and invoce for work done
