I'll be applying from Hanoi for the DTV1 (workcation) soon! Has anyone had issues with applying with 500k in the bank for less than a month?

Documents:

Freelance contract

Portfolio of freelance work (10 pages of work samples)

Status of remote work (signed by boss, dated July)

Proof of monthly income / payslip for (Wise bank)

Proof of 500k in banks (amount would have been in bank for a week or so)

Appreciate any advice. Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a DTV1 workcation visa from Hanoi and inquires about potential issues with a bank balance of 500,000 Baht maintained for less than a month. Comments from others suggest that providing current bank statements is essential, and having a larger balance might improve chances. Additionally, including a cover letter detailing remote work and compliance with Thai laws is recommended.

I simply provided the bank statement for the most current month

We only had 500,000 Baht in our account for a month. My husband was just approved for the remote work DTV. My suggestion is to have a bit more in the account if it's not going to be a total of 3 months of statements. We had 21,000 USD. Also, a cover letter explaining what kind of work you do and your interest in Thailand as well as a statement saying you will not be working in Thailand and you will comply with all the laws.
