How long do you have to be married before i can apply to be included as a spouse on a my partners work permit?
Getting married in the UK in October.... Will return to Thailand 4 weeks later... How long is it before we can apply or does each embassy etc have their own timescales? Thanks in advance for help.
TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply to be included as a spouse on your partner's work permit as soon as you have your marriage certificate. It's advisable to get your marriage certificate legalized in the UK before returning to Thailand, as this will expedite the process. Once your marriage certificate is legalized, you can apply for a 90-day Non-O visa based on your marriage in the UK. This process typically requires documentation from your partner's employer and a bank statement, among other requirements.
