Non O extension based on spouse of Thai national, Chiang Mai.
Went to get my 1-month under consideration today so am sharing some points I think are worth noting.
1. Was informed that TM.7 form available online is outdated. I was given a new form at the immigration office.
2. Bank book needs to be updated to the date you submit your application for extension. Ie, I submitted on 3/11 so book needs to show update on 3/11.
3. 2 sets of everything is required, so 1 original and 1 photocopy. Photocopied photos must be printed in colour.
4. You will get 2 queue numbers - one as you enter compound (number for staff to check documents before entering building). If all is ok, you will be directed to information counter inside building for 2nd queue number. This will be queue number to submit documents for processing.
Went in at 8am and left at 1.45pm (I was 9th in queue). Delay apparently due to staff shortage, but immigration officer courteous and patient with queries.
Hope this helps and apologies if this information has already been shared earlier. Good luck!
