I have an appointment booked at the embassy in Vientiane next month for a non O immigrant visa. Can anyone advise what documents I need? Someone has told me I need photos of the border crossing from both sides?? Seriously!
I have emailed the embassy but have had no response.
Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the necessary documents for their upcoming appointment at the Thai embassy in Vientiane for a non-O immigrant visa. They mention receiving dubious advice about needing photos of the border crossing. Comments suggest checking the embassy's official website for requirements and clarify that copies of entry stamps and visas are typically needed, rather than photos of border crossings.

Border crossing photos...I think not. They are very helpful at the Vientiane embassy

The website should have all the requirements. That should be the first place you check.
Pretty much every embassy that's not your home country will require a copy of your entry stamp and visa to that country, not a photo of you crossing the border.
