Hey everyone,
My wife and I are traveling at the moment outside our home countries and would like to apply for the Non-B teaching visa (Russian national) and Non-O visas (South African) from Kuala Lumpur in August.
I have a couple of questions I hope could be answered here:
1. Do we need our original academic degrees or only certified copies would do? If we have a Bachelor’s and Master’s, but only have the original of Bachelor’s - can we avoid showing the Master’s?
2. How long does visa processing take in KL, Malaysia?
3. The criminal record check is issued by country of origin embassy in a third country - is this acceptable?
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Clint
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks guidance on applying for a Non-B teaching visa and Non-O visa from Kuala Lumpur for himself and his wife while traveling. Key concerns include the necessity of original academic degrees, the processing time for the visas, and the acceptability of a criminal record check issued from a third country's embassy. Responses emphasize the need for a job before applying for the visa, the importance of checking specific requirements on the KL visa website, and details about the appointment system for document submission and collection.
