What documents do I need for a marriage visa in Thailand after my wife's divorce has been delayed?

Hi all
I wanted to get a marriage visa last year I’ve been with my Thai wife since 2008 marriage was in the uk but it was rejected due to my wife never registering her devorce with the local Amphur office so I did a trip back to the uk to get it all stamped and apostilled by the royal Thai embassy London.

I was just thinking today that’s all done ready to go but then I thought is there a possibility that I will also need to show my devorce papers in the marriage visa process or not we have all the legal Marriage certificates legalised by the Thai embassy or am I over thinking and all should be ok now .

I am looking at that too, divorce papers from the embassy in bangkok, then translated by approved translation company then brought to  a thai government office, i have to look it up again

That shouldn't be an issue..  In the UK you had to show you were divorced before you got married  ..

That's the rules everywhere.

They seem to want everything imaginable!... Weren't happy with my "outside house" photos...now want me to get a plaque made up showing the full address screwed on to the fence....None of the houses in my village have any numbers...My original attempt showed the number that PEA(electric company) pin to the gate

You need to register your marriage in your local amphur first before applying for a marriage visa. It doesn't sound like you did from your post. Bring all the documents from the UK. They also need to be translated to Thai.

Chances are you wife will still need to register the divorce at the Amour. My lawyer did mine free of charge, it was just a phone call to the Amour to amend the data.
