Do Brazilian nationals still routinely get 90 days visa exempt stay per each entry? How about in-country extension? Is it +90 or +30?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Brazilian nationals are currently entitled to a 90-day visa exemption upon entry into Thailand, due to a bilateral agreement. However, they are not eligible for a 30-day extension once this visa waiver is used. Some users suggest that Brazilians might consider exiting to neighboring countries for a new 90-day entry, with the possibility of doing this twice a year.

FIVE countries get 90 day visa waiver entry stamps when they show up here Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and South Korea.

NONE of them can get a 30 day extension from those stamps.

Peruvians as well; 90 days visa waiver. But what about our best option to stay in Thailand for a long term? I know we can't do visa extension, but idk, maybe round trip to Cambodia, Vietnam or Laos and get another 90 days? I read about you can do this maximum twice per year. Can anybody help me with information? Thanks

how about applying for ED and O (parent guardian) visa within Thailand while being on a visa waiver vs. visa exemption route?

, You can apply for in-country visas from either visa-exempt or visa-waiver entry if you (and your school in case of Non-ED) meet the requirements.

To answer your first question. Yes, with a Brazilian passport you get 90 days visa waiver. It is a bilateral agreement. Recently I met a Brazilian who showed me his 90 day stamp.

Nationals of Brazil, are entitled for tourist visa exemption scheme. Meanwhile, Thailand also holds bilateral agreements on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports for a visit of not exceeding 90 days with Brazil
