When should I go to immigration in Koh Chang to extend my Non-Immigrant O visa for 90 days?

I need your advice.

I got a non immigrant O one entry one year visa in June of this year. It's the first time I'm in Thailand with this kind of visa.

Can you please tell when exactly I have to go to immigration on Koh Chang to extend my visa for further 90 days. On the 60th day after entry or in the 90th day?

What documents do I exactly need to change my visa to get a multiple entry non immigrant O. The bank guarantee, the bank book, the residence confirmation, photocopies of my passport and the stamps of the immigration office and what else?.I know I have to present myself 15 days before the 90 days exceed to apply for changing the visa.

Your advice is highly appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the procedure and timing for extending their Non-Immigrant O visa in Thailand, specifically on Koh Chang. They are unsure whether to visit immigration on the 60th or 90th day after entry and are asking for clarification on the required documents to apply for a multiple entry visa. Additionally, discussions in the comments address various requirements, including financial documentation, the necessity of a lease, and previous attempts at applying for a multiple entry visa.

I was told by a friend that I can apply for 90 days every 90 days until the visa exceeds.

you were told wrong. :/ That Non-O visa is sold two ways, a 90 day single entry Non-O <- that gets you stamped in ONCE for 90 days and is done (like you have)

OR

A year long, multi-entry Non-O visa <- where you come into the country get stamped in for 90 days, then when that is running out you exit/re-enter the country to get another 90 day stamp. You do that for the whole year.

The ONLY type of extension based on being over 50 that's available on a Non-O visa is a year extension. There is no 90 day extension .. You apply for the year using the documentation I outlined BUT I'd go to the immigration office and get the hand out (most offices have it) that outlines exactly what you need

, if im not mistaken, the laem ngop immigration office has been moved to had lek border. I suggest you ask around in koh chang. They have been moving the immigration office around lately...koh chang to laem ngop to trat centre to had lek......
Cecilia ******
Visa Issues are only done at Laem Ngop immigration office. On the Island only the 90day Reporting.

let's keep it in english please
@Cecilia *****
;) The documents are NOT the same inside the country to get a yearly extension as what she gave at the consulate in Basel to get that visa :/

@Liss *******
Googling around it appears you go to the Laem Ngop immigration office. BUT on that I'm not 100% sure. sorry.

Do I have to go to the immigration in Koh Chang that still is working or to laem ngop? And what documents do I need?
Tod *********
That is a 90 day single entry Non-O visa, meaning you can come in once for 90 days and then you apply for an extension of stay at the immigration office in your area.

You can apply for the extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current 90 day stamp.

By the way I was at the immigration 5 times with all the documents I needed but the lease.

I had everything but a lease. I had the written letter by my partner that I can use his house with no time limit. He even added a copy if his passport. The immigration head office guy didn't want to accept this even though I had a residence confirmation signed by the Thai director of the resort.

the lease is the problem. My partner owns the house/company and he is a farang. The many times I went to the immigration last year didn't lead to a non immigrant multiple entry visa as I was told every time that a farang can't issue a lease! Who then can do it?
Tod *********
You'd need the letter from the bank, copies of your bank book, update the bank book on the date you're applying for the extension, take your lease, copies of your passport and visa stamps and you should be okay.

You'll get a yearly extension and after you get that you can buy a multiple re-entry permit of you want to

are you using banked money? or are you using a letter from your consulate stating you get income from abroad for the financial requirements?

You aren't changing ANY visa at all, you'll be applying for a yearly extension of stay.

What is the reason you got the visa? (over 50, married to a thai, married to a foreigner legally working here, raising half thai or foreign kids, etc)?

yep, you got stamped in for 90 days and now that visa is done.
Tod *********
There is no Non-O visa good for a year that is only a single entry :/

Like Robert said, either post a picture of the visa itself

OR

look on your visa and post the date of issue, the enter before date, the visa type and the date you were stamped into thailand for.

If im not mistaken, the immigration office on koh chang has moved to laem ngob or had lek on mainland Trat. Better ask around on koh chang.

a Non Immigrant O visa one entry one year?? The Non Immigrant O visa is or Single Entry and valid 90 days from the day added in your passport, or Multiple Entry and valid 1 year from the day added in your passport. Please take a look at the Visa and explain what kind of visa this is, and on what reason you got this visa. Thanks.
