What documents are necessary to prove my current location when applying for a Thai visa from my home country?
Hello, for anyone who has successfully applied from their own country, what documents did you submit to indicate your current location? That's assuming you don't have a passport stamp or hotel bookings.
And were you required to provide copies of flights to/from Thailand?

I believe every country / embassy has different requirements... from Italy I sent a scan of my national ID card (has my address in it) and then I was asked to show a flight ticket departing from Italy.

It is embassy specific regarding flights .. London requires evidence of an actual booking other embassies are ok with you just detailing an intended flight. Utility bills, bank statements, tax docs can be used to show your address. If asked to prove your current location, date stamped selfie near famous landmark, atm withdrawal slip from local bank have worked.

Going by older posts it doesn't appear to be a requirement from Sweden, but they will request it if they do need it. You could email them in advance to see if it is a requirement.Steve *******

that's good as all my utilities and council rates etc come to my p.o box even though it has the actual address in the body of the billSo many twists in getting all the docs correct and scanned correctly.been stressing me for ages.thanks
