Hi everyone,

What supporting documents should I upload Thai embassy E-Visa? I live in the uk.

I have my passport uploaded and a photo of me but it’s asking for booking confirmation - I have attached a screenshot of my stay length and hotel as you can only submit one document per answer?

Also it’s asking for proof of location - I have used my driving license with my address on it?

In addition it’s asking for my flights - which I have used a screen shot of my plane tickets with names and flight number.

Lastly with the length of stay I have put 179 days as I’m applying for a multi entry tourist visa?

I know it’s only 60 days at a time though so should I put 60 days on the application?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the necessary supporting documents for submitting a Thai E-Visa application from the UK, mentioning passport, photo, hotel booking confirmation, proof of address, and flight details. They are unsure about correctly indicating the length of stay for a multi-entry tourist visa, given the 60-day limit per entry. Community responses emphasize the importance of providing adequate flight information for multiple entries and suggest combining flight tickets into a single upload to demonstrate travel plans.

I applied for 60 day visa, used my rtn ticket which had a date 90 days from entry into Thailand.

It was accepted and approved within 4 days from London Thai Embassy.

😁 Good luck!

Read the visa pages of your nearest Thai Embassy.

Fairly certain you putting 178 days and uploading one plane ticket will not suffice.

You need to provide a reason why you need multiple entries. This means you need to upload a plane ticket to Thailand from where you are applying. A flight out of Thailand within 60 days of your arrival, and then another flight into Thailand. This shows you will be entering Thailand multiple times and is the reason you need a multiple entry tourist visa. If you do not provide this justification, some embassies will issue you a single entry tourist visa since you only provided proof of entering Thailand once, and they will keep the difference in price because it's non-refundable. Suggest you combine 3 plane tickets into a single photo and upload as I have shown above.

ah ok, so best bet then as i have only booked 1 flight atm because I’m wanting to travel for 3 months then go into Vietnam for 2 months then back into northern Thailand for another 3 months. Would it be best to to go on a single visa and then go to a local Thai embassy and get an extension after 60 days for a further 30 days?

Thanks

it's really up to you. If you want to apply for the METV you can look into onward travel websites to get some plane tickets for your application. Just Google "onward travel ticket"

do they work for the ones showing when they ask you at the check in counter if you got something to flight out of Thailand ? (The onward ticket)
