Visa Applications UK

Just a quickie.

I'm going to be travelling around Thailand from the UK for around 10 weeks from next January.

On the Visa Application website, it's asking for 'proof of accommodation details', (I've only booked my first few nights in BKK), it's also asking for where else I'll be stopping i.e. accommodation name, for 'Financial evidence' & 'Confirmation of legal residence in a country in which you are applying for the visa'. etc.

What are you supposed to submit or are they just questions in general and not really needed?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a long-term Thailand visa from the UK, it is essential to provide proof of accommodation, which can include booking confirmations from hotels. Additionally, you will need to submit financial evidence such as bank statements and proof of legal residence like energy bills. It's recommended to have free cancellation bookings for flexibility. For those fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including a booking for a Test & Go hotel may also be required.

I’ve just done mine and got asked to show proof of where I was staying for the 2 month period. I just booked some random hotels on Agoda with free cancellation and full refund. Got the visa the other day and then cancelled them all but the first 2 that covered Test and Go and my first few nights in bkk

You have to answer all questions or it won’t let you submit it

You need bank statements for evidence ( screen shot ) the legal residence means a energy bill for your home and copies of ALL hotels you are staying at . I put 3 hotels together then screen shot it then cut it to increase the hotel accomodation. I’ve just had my visa passed off

, as a matter of interest what did you download for the 'Identity of the person inviting you to stay e.g. Thai ID card, Passport' and the 'Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip', I've not been anywhere since 2019. πŸ™„

just send the picture you want to send to embassy to a friend on messenger. Then save them picture to your phone and that will put them to the correct size to down load to the website.
