Hello, anyone else planning a trip to Malaysia between the 15 & 31th of this month?

Malaysia is set to open an Vaccinated (Air) Travel Lane with Thailand on the 15--and I am hoping to travel on the 21st.

Of course Malaysia opens to all countries on the 1st of April, but in my case I can't wait.

Hoping to find out if anyone has any ideas of the VTL process. Currently you can only register if arriving from Singapore in the next 7 days.

Specifically I was wanting to know if:

- Insurance was required to enter MY?

-If yes, is there a recommendation for a short, 3 day policy?

-When we might be able to find some new details.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is planning a trip to Malaysia from Thailand between the 15th and 31st of March due to the opening of the Vaccinated (Air) Travel Lane (VTL) on March 15. They seek information on the VTL process, particularly regarding the required insurance for entry into Malaysia, recommendations for a short insurance policy, and updated details on the travel lane. A commenter suggests that insurance can be obtained through the government portal, similar to Singapore's entry procedures.

. I haven't been on the portal. Is that the MySejahtera app?

Do they offer short term insurance? Otherwise I will need to find some insurance that covers both Thailand and Malaysia for my return on the 23rd.
