OOPS! Do I understand correctly?
As of January 8thor 12th before the flood of Chinese, arrivals Thailand is revising the need for everyone coming into Thailand to have Medical Insurance and the Thai Pass? OR is it only for those returning to or going onward to countries requring the PCR test?
I don't quite understand.
Can someone please confirm the date when this is to begin? I'd like to fly back in BEFORE this is imposed. Any idea about this?
It was my first trip out of the country , and never had to do Thai Pass and medical insurance. What would this insirance and pass entail?
1, How much would this cost ? I'm in Singapore at the moment.
2. Does this require proof of Vaccination jabs and booster shots
etc...
3, What other information are they asking for?
Thanks for the input!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the potential revision of Thailand's entry requirements, particularly regarding medical insurance and the Thai Pass, with mixed insights from commenters. There is confusion about the effective date and whether these measures apply to all foreign travelers or only those from specific countries like China. Some community members emphasize that official details have not yet been released, advising travelers to wait for formal announcements before making travel decisions.
