Hi, tried the search bar, but still confused on current requirements. Flying June 25 to stay for 90 days - SETV for 60 plus 30 day extension.
- Do I need to apply for COE separately or does that come with SETV?
- For Thai pass, do I only need 30 days insurance or the full 90? Do they accept foreign health insurance?
-Can I just show proof of accommodation for first night? (im still deciding where to stay on my trip)
-Fully vaccinated so no covid test needed correct?
-Recommendation for onward ticket bc I'll be extending 30 days while I'm there?
Sorry for so many questions. Thank you for your help.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on several entry requirements for Thailand associated with their upcoming trip. They plan to travel on a Special Tourist Visa (SETV) for 90 days (60 days plus a 30-day extension) and are asking about the necessity of a Certificate of Entry (COE), the duration of required travel insurance, accommodation proof, vaccination status in relation to testing, and advice on an onward ticket. The answers indicated that a COE isn't needed, a Thailand Pass is required with 60 days of insurance, only proof of accommodation for the first couple of days is necessary, vaccination means no COVID test is needed, and a changeable onward ticket within 60 days is advisable.
