I just got my first 1 year visa extension and applied for the a single entry (reentry permit)
I got a receipt that says reentry permit and the 1000 thb that I paid.
I expect a separate document. Will I get something to reenter or is this all I need?

TLDR : Answer Summary
After obtaining a reentry permit alongside your 1-year visa extension, you should expect a stamp in your passport confirming the reentry permit. This stamp serves as your documentation for reentering Thailand. You've received a receipt for the permit fee, but the actual reentry permit is stamped and included in your passport. When you return to Thailand, the immigration officer will mark that the permit has been used.
Didn't u get a stamp that says re entry permit( with the garuda).....since its a single permit the next time you come back thailand the immigration officer will stamp (used) on that permit and stamp a entry stamp with the validity of your extension
Bjørn Hafstad you can apply for single re-entry permits at the immigration office. It is more cost efficient unless you need four or more re-entry permits. If you do need four or more then pay the extra for the multiple-enrry permit with your Visa
I assume they still have your passport? You can't get a re entry until the 1 year extension of stay is granted. When you get the passport back it will have a single re entry permit stamped inside.
Jim Skinner Thanks I have my passport back and double check. They put the reentry stamp on the opposite page over another stamp and I did not realize it.
