*"Under consideration"-stamp for a one-year visa extension based on marriage with Thai wife. (Cheagwattana, BKK)*
I am currently on this stamp and got the 21st of February stamped into my Passport.
My questions:
1)
Is it possible to go on 20th of February already or will they tell me to come back the next day? For private reasons that would be a Lot easier for me.
2)
Do i have to bring any documents besides my Passport?
3)
Is there anything else I need to prepare or be prepared for?
The officer i Got this stamp from Just told me to come Back "around" that day (yes, according to her even a few days later would be fine but i do Not want to risk anything) and No further documents or an appointment are necessary for this.
Thanks a lot for all your advice and enjoy your Sunday evening.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on visiting the immigration office for a one-year visa extension based on marriage to a Thai spouse. They ask if they can attend a day early on February 20th, what documents might be required besides their passport, and if there are any other preparations needed. Community members advise sticking to the original appointment date of February 21, primarily bringing the passport and possibly the receipt for the extension fee.
