What are the penalties for missing the 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand, and is there a grace period?

Paid 2000 baht penalty with a souvenir receipt

Thanks for the help everyone

Guys I've got a problem, I overlooked my 90 day reporting with the immigration (under work permit), my reporting day was 13 April but as per reading online they grant you 7 days grace period after the said date, is it true? If so when will the counting start? 16 as festivals end?

On the bad side how much could the penalty be? I was out of town and things slipped off my mind.

Thanks for the help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual missed their 90-day reporting deadline for immigration under a work permit, which was due on April 13. However, they learned that there is a 7-day grace period, allowing them to report until April 20 without a significant penalty. The penalty for missing the report is confirmed to be 2000 baht. Several commenters confirmed the fine and shared their experiences with the same situation.

Did you have the same case buddy?

You had until 20th, as you're late (not a huge problem) you face a fine of up to 2kบ - but can be less.

Mate wouldn't Songkran holidays be counted? Like the week just started at 16
Robert *******
You can indeed report in person till 7 days after due date, the fine for missing a 90 day report is 2.000 Thb.

Still being positive mate, let you know what happens on Monday

There are several ways to make this report, you have 22 days to do it in person, you can try to get extra consideration of the 2 days closed for Songkran but don't be surprised you don't get it.

Thanks buddy, lesson learned

Your reporting date was 13 April that is named due date, plus 7 days make it until 20 April. There are no extra days due to weekends or closing due to holidays.
