TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a user's experience with missing their 90-day immigration report deadline in Thailand and the subsequent demands for fees from their agent. The user expresses frustration with the agent's charge for late reporting and mentions feeling misled. Many commenters suggest that if the user had handled the reporting independently, they could have avoided additional fees. Several users emphasize the simplicity of the process and criticize reliance on agents, advising that reporting can be done online or at the immigration office without needing to pay an agent. There are also comments about the fine structure for missed reports and the notion that agents often charge extra fees to cover their costs.

Agents fix it for free amd usually don't pay the 2000 thb fine so take a risk and go there..u can probably get an agent at immigration to sort it quickly for 500
Only in extremely rare circumstances have I ever used an agent. At the end of the day they are there to make money and make money they will. Most stuff you can do yourself.

What’s the issue? It’s not that hard to check the immigration website or add 90 days (subtract 14 for the earliest date, add 7 for the latest). I did mine in person yesterday—it literally took 10 minutes. Some centers even print the next reporting date on the receipt. You can just set a calendar reminder on your expensive 1,000 dollar phone or, if you prefer, pay a local to do nothing.

You want to support these bool sucking agents you fault for being lazy. Never used one never will. 90 day report can be done 14 days prior or 7 days after. In immagration office or online. It takes five minutes put it in your Google calendar bang never fuc#@$ up again. Some people in Thailand are like babies How do you function in your own country 🤣🤣🤣

Are you sure it's a 90 day report and not a 90 day exentsion?

All you need to do is look at the paper that the immigration agent gave you. If the agent fails to give the paper then pay the charges and SUE the agent. The date issue is due to the agent's mishandling your account. Do not use an agent.
Why everyone is attacking the OP this group is for advice and he is asking for an advice not a criticism. If you have something useful say it if not move on. You don’t know his circumstances or his reasons. We are not always perfect and doing everything right. Come on everyone be kind.
The officers usually charge the agent 1000-1500 B for the late 90 day check in, no reciept. So it's normal for them to add an extra 1000 for themselves. Their service is that you don't have to go to immigration and your passport won't be stamped as having failed the 90 day report
Fine for not making a 90 day report is 2,000 baht. Same amount for one missed report or more than one. Immigration at air, land or sea borders are not concerned with 90 day reporting, only overstays.

If you are to lazy to do it yourself , then pay the agent. It’s so simple, even a child of 3 months old can do it
Not a lecture.. it is common sense. Lots of people get rejected online for the 90 day report for no apparent reason. Those people generally walk into Immigratioon office, and get the tick of approval for the 90 day reporting with absolutely no hassle, and no fee.
sounds like your not paying attention to the things you must do to stay in Thailand if you can’t afford 2000 baht fine I don’t think you should stay here it’s not rocket science
Blame yourself if you're out at the last minute. Not difficult to keep track of important dates, put them in your phone's calendar. Just to visit imigration and pay, there are no shortcuts

Play sketchy/illegal games with an agent, pay the price.
There are risks involved when trying to take shortcuts and skirt the law.
well i was stuck in Thai 2020 with business visa and had no other solution back than to keep residence while no airport
