Hello everyone. Bringing my wife over to stay with me in BKK (we both hold Indian passports, our ages : under 30). I have a Non B and work permit. Currently applying for a Non O multiple entry visa for her. A few questions :
1. Does our marriage cert need to be notarized or simply give them an original which they'll return back?
2. Invitation letter to be addressed to Royal Thai Consulate from me (individual) or from the BOI type company I work under?
3. If and when she gets a job here, can we get the labor department to change it to a Non B?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a Non O multiple entry visa for their wife, with questions about the marriage certificate's notarization, the correct addressee for the invitation letter, and the possibility of switching her visa to a Non B if she gains employment in Thailand. Responses indicate that a notarized translation of the marriage certificate may be needed, original documents are typically not returned after submission, and that a change from a Non O visa to a Non B visa cannot be done while in Thailand.

I guess you use VFS to apply for the visa in India, if the marriage certificate is in English you can give a copy, if in other language you need a notarized translation. Normally you do not get documents back after application for a Visa, do not give the original.
The one we have is issued by the State Government (civil marriage doc) and we got 2 originals. This contains a long certificate ID number which is unique to our application.
Yes, we will be using VFS and they mentioned "Certificates can be original certificate or a copy with original certified by MEA". If they are returning originals (which they should), it's better to hand over the originals for their review.
Documents needed for the Non Immigrant O based on being a dependent on your Non Immigrant B visa is coming from your Employer. She can not change from Non Immigrant O visa into a Non Immigrant B visa inside the country.
. So, I'll write up (1) an invitation letter from my company addressed to the Thai Consulate and (2) get an original letter from BOI stating the dependent status.
