Hello. I have a few questions.

I am on a 3 months non B visa. My work permit is ready now. I talked to my lawyer and she say that I have to do new visa every 3 months. Go out from Thailand, go to embassy and do new non B visa. If I want to get 1 year multi entry visa I have to get 4 Thai staff to my company and pay social security for them. So it is 4000 for social security, plus accounting. In a year it is about 100k baht - a lot.

I am planning to getting married soon. Do you guys think I should stay do then non B 1 year visa or just change to non o marriage 1 year visa? What will happen to my work permit if I change to non o visa?

Thanks for any information ๐Ÿ˜€

Are you married? Why do you think you can get a Non-O Multiple Entry marriage visa?

Or you can go for a multiple entree non o based on marriage, from savanakhet or hcmc. No proof of funds needed. However this visa requires you to exit and enter Thailand every 90 days

can I go out and come back same day, or I have to stay overnight?

Your company? Not have 4 Thai staff as needed for the Work Permit. But okay, yes if you do not pay your Thai staff and yourself a salary, income tax and Social Security and does not have a yearly balance sheet from an accountant that shows your company make enough net profit to pay all this, there is no way you get an Extension of Stay.

Alternative is visit every 90 days an Thai consulate and apply for a new visa.

If you like to go the marriage with a Thai national route, you need for the Extension of Say or money in the bank, or income from abroad or income from your company with the surprise that you have to pay your Thai staff and yourself a salary, income tax and Social Security

You can keep your work permit with this type of visa and later the Extensions of Stay.

work permit is tied to the visa right? So if he gets a new visa(every 3 months) the work permit is void?

I am not sure how my lawyer did that, but for now I have 1 social security payment but I gave 4 Thai Id and 4 house book. And I got my work permit. But if I get married I can get non B 1 year visa? And I need only 2 Thai staff then so I don't have to do visa runs?

Robert Lagas ah ok. 4 staff required but no proof of social security payments?

@Robert ******
right. I also thought that 4 Thai staff + social security is a mandatory requirement for the working permit?
