Has anyone done their Non-O extension based on income from a THAI company? Most posts on the topic are on income from abroad, embassy verification, etc. I can't find the exact requirements in my situation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the requirements for extending a Non-O visa based on income from a Thai company, noting that most existing resources focus on income from abroad. Comments suggest that requirements typically include evidence of recent salary payments, tax documents, and a work permit. It is also common for individuals married to Thais or working legally in Thailand to use their Thai employment income to apply for extensions, often with assistance from their employers.

believe me many MANY people who are married to thais and legally work in thailand use monthly income from their job to get their yearly extensions. it's not that it's not common, it's that most people who do that have their employer help compile the documentation because there is so much that has to come from them.

I'd say go out to the immigration office and get the hand out that lists the requirements for using monthly income by being employed in thailand to meet the proof of funds for a yearly extension based on marriage

most Immigration offices wants to see the tax and sso payments of the last three months from you and the Thai staff. Copy of your work permit and some other documents like, yearly tax payments company. best is to get the hand out at your local immigration Office. But here you can get an idea of the list

he want to use the work permit and the Thai Salary to get an Extension of Stay. You need to show your Thai income by tax payments, Work Permit and company documents.

If there are no tax payments, there should be no salary and that means there is no income to show.

if it is a paper company who does not make profit, there are no salary payments, meaning no income to show.

Sorry, James. When I replied all I saw was the question "Are you working in Thailand?"

- U.S. Citizen

- Working in Thailand, I do hold a work permit.

- Current extension on Non-O visa is based on marriage

- Chaeng Wattana

- Married with child.

Alright, thanks. My case seems a bit unique or at least not mentioned very often. I'll be sure to give a thorough report once I've received my extension (or not!).
