Does the 400,000 THB requirement for the Non-O visa extension need to come from an overseas account, or can it be from a Thai bank account?

Does anyone know if your non o ext based on 400k has to come from an overseas account or can it come from a Thai one? Is the 40k in income based on my tax return from my job working here in Thailand if it isnt coming from overseas?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 400,000 THB requirement for the Non-O visa extension does not specify that the funds need to come from an overseas account; they can be from a Thai bank account as long as they show in your name for at least two months prior to application. For the income requirement of 40,000 THB, it can be proven through a notarized letter for overseas income or through tax statements and pay slips for income earned in Thailand.

there is nothing written in the rules about where the 400K baht needs to come from as long as it's in a thai bank account in your name for the 2 months before you apply for the extension of stay . .

The 40K baht can be a notarized letter from your consulate stating you get that much money a month in overseas income OR it can be 3 months of tax statements and pay slips along with your work permit showing you get that in salary here.

is it different ? the result is 800k for retire, 400k for mariage, any way to show it is ok...

Ok thanks!

, that is incorrect :/ You do not need both for an extension based on retirement. You can use banked money, income letter OR a combination of the two.

For marriage you either use one or the other; the banked money 400K baht or the income letter showing 40K baht a month,

for retire need both, for mariage need only 400

For this extension do you need the 400k and also show at least 40k per month going into your account? Or does just the 400k suffice?

, Dutch Embassy allows pre tax income plus tax refunds papers as combined income for the notary letter.

for the notary letter from your consulate you put down pre-tax but I don't know at all if the income from working inside the country is before or after.

Thanks mate...is that 40k before or after tax?

Your salary must be minumum 40k and Immigration ask for the tax payments if you use income of a job in Thailand. As far as I know it is 400.000 Thb on a bank account, saved from working here of from overseas does not matter.
