I am wondering about the NON-O marriage visa extension. We are supposed to be able to extend it by showing 40 000 baht income per month so my question is, does it matter where that money comes from? Does it have to be from a job in Thailand or could it as well be bank transfers from my mother in Sweden?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The NON-O marriage visa extension requires proof of a minimum income of 40,000 baht per month. It is possible to demonstrate this income through sources other than employment in Thailand, such as bank transfers from family abroad, provided you have an income affidavit from your embassy to validate this income.
