TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the required documents for obtaining a Non-O visa for their mother, who is of Ukrainian nationality, while they hold a Non-B visa and work permit. The responses clarified that the immigration office in Sriracha was unhelpful regarding documentation requirements. Key advice included the necessity of documents from the employer confirming approval to add a dependent and ensuring the mother has sufficient time left on her current entry stamp, typically at least 15 days. A link to the general requirements for a Non-O visa for dependents was also provided.

As Tod says. But here is the 'general' requirements sheet for Non-O dependent to Non-B holder from the Immigration bureau. You may be able to get a rough idea of what you might need. You definitely need to talk with your employer.

You WENT in person with your passport/work permit and your mother's passport to the Sriracha immigration office and they couldn't tell you what documents were needed to apply for the initial 90 day non-O visa based on being a family member of someone who legally works here on a Non-B visa/extension? That just doesn't make any sense as they are the ones that would process it

I am reasonably sure you as the "primary" visa/extension holder are going to need documentation from your employer saying it's okay that you add your mother.

Your mother will need at least 15 days left on her current entry stamp to apply at most offices (unknown what SriRacha requires as far as days left) due to the under review period to issue the initial Non-O visa.

Yes, we went there together to extend her current visa and I asked them this question, the answer was: "We not sure, you call your embassy and ask them, they know"

your embassy wouldn't have ANY idea πŸ˜•

Sriracha is the office you use to get your Non-B extension?

You might try going to the Jomtien office (Chonburi has two immigration offices) they would be the only other ones who would know. I am sure you're not the first foreigner legally working here who wanted a Non-O for an immediate family member (and Ukraine get 30 day visa exempt entries AND 30 day extensions so there's no issue country of origin wise why she couldn't get it)

Yes, we just extended 30 days on arrival for another 30 days, hoping it's enough time to make a non-o visa

Hi Alex it will be better if go to chonburi immigration in bang lamung or else last option is Bangkok if I'm not wrong. But I hope your work will be done in bang lamung only. All the best πŸ‘
