What are the procedures to apply for a Non-O Visa in Vientiane as of 2025?

ORIGINAL POSTERHi All, Would like to check on the procedures to Apply for Non-O Visa in Vientiane.
Was checking for information in the group and found out that they no longer accept walk-in applications from Jan 2025. Visas Application had to be submitted online on the New E-Visa web.
I am planning to head over Vientiane Next month Aug to apply for Non-O Visa.
So now, I can only apply online at the E-Visa web online when I am in Laos, and print out the application once it’s confirmed and pay at the Vientiane Thai Consulate and wait for about 2-3 work days for approval?
My last application was in 2024, which the old system requires us to book a appointment slot online and walk in submit the documents and collect after 2 work days
